Me: "ACKKKKKKKKK! What a happened here? What is this - SYRUP? Everywhere .. on the floor, on the table, on the the twins, and IN BOTTLES? WHY DO THE TWINS HAVE BOTTLES OF SYRUP?"

Maddy: "Cause dey were firsty."

Me: "DO YOU SEE THE MESS THEY MADE WITH THAT?"

Maddy: "Uh huh - Dey in BIIIIIIIG twouble."

Megan: "uh OH!"

(chucks bottle to floor and holds hands up to face for obervation)

"ALL DONE - GET DOWN!"

Me: "You help me clean this mess up right now. Get a cloth and wipe this up. Put those bottles in the sink. NOW. I have to get the twins into the bathtub."

Maribeth: (Trying to clap but having difficulty due to sticky syrup coating her hands) "YAY YAY"

Maddy: "Can't clean dis up - it's TOO BIG mess"
