I have been slandered!

Maligned! Mis-quoted, I say!

Quote:
"NO YUCK - I DO NOT WANT ANY OF THAT - BLEAH - CHERYL I AM NOT GOING TO BE RESPONSIBLE FOR CLEANING THE MESS UP FROM THAT!"

That is not quite how it came out. You can safely ignore anything before the "Cheryl, I am not going to be responsible for cleaning up the mess from that!"

As you know, Asians in general are among the least discriminating when it comes to food considerations. In Asia, with so many mouths to feed, you take what you can get. If it crawls, creeps, slithers, swims, flounders, or flies, it is probably fair game. Even being raised with SDA considerations of what is considered "clean" and "unclean" meats, I still arrived at adulthood with a relatively un-prejudiced palate.

Mayhem - The elder M's were supposed to be cleaning up after supper, but they weren't going very fast and the twins kept getting in their way.

With that firmly in mind, you know that "bleah" did not cross my lips. I in fact commented that I was not going to have any because I had already eaten my supper and did not have room left .. for a mutant breakfast / dessert item.

Nor was I going to clean up the resulting choco-disaster that would ensue once the children discovered they did not have any room left themselves. They would, and did, of course find other ways and means of disposing of the extraneous choco-mush.

(And while we're here, may I suggest that Cheryl's recipe for this concoction should be patented as a "green" alternative to the existing concrete admixtures used in large-scale civil and commercial construction.)

Backyard Clematis - The simple beauty if this flower is inspiring.

Afterwards I was deputized to supervise the children in the backyard while Cheryl and Maribeth went upstairs to deal with a stool episode.

The balance of the M's decided to play on their swing - and I thought I'd grab the camera as we did not have any photos to go along with Cheryl's (wildly inaccurate) post.

Pretty Madeleine - This is probably Madeleine's most favourite dress currently. We're not sure why as it is not a light material and we've had some quite warm weather ..

I can see an airplane! - We spotted an ultra-light buzzing overhead this evening. It was one of those ones with the elevators on the front, so Melissa thought it was flying backward.

Me thinks thou doth protest too much! ;) The M's as my witnesses "bleah" DID cross your lips in reference to the oatmeal. A more plausible defense would an "m" impressonation....

My take is that certain somebodies are deliberately baiting their cyberspace grandparent hooks with ever-more-amusing stories and photos. ;-)
