I was working with Melissa with sounding out simple words with letters on cards on the floor. She was having trouble with one and Michael looked over her shoulder and said. "j...e...t". Melissa - that says "jet".
You could have picked me up off the floor!
I tried a couple other ones with him and he also got "cat", "web" and a couple of other ones - though he doesn't know as many letters overall as Melissa - I'm just very, very impressed!
We got the package with the workbooks from Timberdoodle today too and he was SO excited to have his own workbooks "like Melissa".
